Incentives to Accept Business Credit Cards

American Express Chief Executive Officer Kenneth Chenault and New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg recently unveiled the idea for a Small Business Saturday, the credit card lender announced. The affair will commence on November 27, and the credit card company is excited to announce it will compensate merchants and consumers for their participation.

The initial 10,000 small business proprietors who accept business credit cards with American Express will be compensated with $100 in free Facebook advertising simultaneously, the first 100,000 consumers who agree to complete a purchase with these companies on November 27th will receive a credit for $25 towards the elimination of their credit card debt.

Small Business Saturday will be held the day after Black Friday, when consumers tend to be more happy to finance their purchases in anticipation of the holiday season. However, many buyers have told opinion pollsters they are unlikely to take on credit card debt this holiday season, and as a substitute will rely on cash to make purchases.
